David and Eva Lakirovich are professional musicians and educators with a shared passion for working with young people. David is a violinist and the Assistant Concertmaster of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, with an extensive performance and teaching background across North America, Europe, and Israel. He is also the Director of Vancouver Island Music Academy, a two-week summer program for precollege students. Eva is a cellist who performs regularly and teaches at the Vancouver Academy of Music and the VSO School of Music, with many years of experience mentoring young cellists and leading music programs. Together, they are excited to contribute to this beautiful initiative and can’t wait to get started!
