The starting point of all growth in life is connection. From the moment a child is born, the connection to family and community is key to their development. These relationships form a base for the child to build upon as they grow.
Our classroom community, known here as our School Family, creates a sense of warmth and family. Because every parent who chooses Tamim is family, we aim to be there for all of our family’s needs inside and outside of school.

Monday
THE ARTIST WORKSHOP
K–4 Art Enrichment gives students the opportunity to grow as young artists by exploring a variety of artistic techniques, styles, and creative processes. Students will learn about different artists, experiment with new materials, and develop their skills through guided art projects that encourage attention to detail, creativity, and self-expression. This enrichment focuses on building confidence, artistic skills, and a deeper appreciation for the world of art.

BRAINIACS ACADEMY
Led by the Brainiacs team, Brainiacs Academy is an engaging enrichment program designed to challenge students through hands-on learning, strategy, and problem-solving activities. Students will develop critical thinking, logic, communication, and collaboration skills through interactive games, puzzles, challenges, and STEM-based experiences. Activities and games will be differentiated by grade level to ensure that students are appropriately challenged and engaged. This program encourages curiosity, creativity, and perseverance while helping students learn to think strategically and approach challenges with confidence.
Wednesday
DANCE (Boys and Girls)
K–4 Dance Enrichment with Nyah from the Jess Dance Team provides students with the opportunity to explore movement, rhythm, and creative expression in a fun and supportive environment. Students will learn age-appropriate dance techniques including breaking, hip hop, and jazz to develop coordination, build confidence, and express themselves through choreography and movement activities. Led by Nyah, this program encourages teamwork, creativity, and a love of dance. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their learning and hard work through a special performance later in December.

BRICK LEGO CONNECTIONS
Led by the Brick Connections team, this hands-on enrichment program allows students to explore creativity, engineering, and problem-solving through LEGO-based challenges and building activities. Students will design, create, and collaborate as they explore concepts such as construction, teamwork, and innovation. Through engaging projects, students will strengthen their critical thinking skills, creativity, and ability to bring ideas to life while having fun with hands-on learning.

CODE CREATORS
Grades 5–7 Coding Enrichment introduces students to the world of programming, technology, and computational thinking. Through hands-on coding challenges and creative projects, students will learn how to design, problem-solve, and bring digital ideas to life. Students will develop logical thinking, collaboration skills, and perseverance while exploring how coding can be used to create, innovate, and solve real-world problems.

BEYOND THE BRUSH STUDIO
Grades 5–7 Beyond the Brush Art Studio gives students the opportunity to develop their artistic skills while exploring a variety of techniques, materials, and creative styles. Students will experiment with different forms of artistic expression, including drawing, painting, mixed media, and design, while learning about artistic concepts and developing their own unique style. This enrichment encourages creativity, confidence, and thoughtful expression as students create meaningful works of art in a supportive studio environment.

FLEX CLUB
Grades 5–7 Flex Club provides students with a flexible and supportive space to pursue their interests, complete unfinished work, and engage in meaningful activities. Students may choose to play games, read, catch up on assignments, complete unfinished projects, or work independently on personal goals. This club encourages responsibility, organization, independence, and positive use of time in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
