We are excited to welcome Mrs. Chana Gordon to the Tamim Academy team!

Mrs. Gordon is a passionate and experienced educator who brings warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication to every classroom she enters. She has taught students from Kindergarten through Grade 4 at Vancouver Hebrew Academy and previously taught both preschool and elementary school in New York. In addition, she has over 15 years of experience teaching supplementary Hebrew school, inspiring children with a love of Jewish learning.

Mrs. Gordon is trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach®, a relationship-based methodology that focuses on building children’s inner wealth, confidence, and positive behaviors. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and encouraging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Gordon is actively involved in the Jewish community. She enjoys singing at women’s events, teaching the laws of Taharas Hamishpachah (family purity), and is a certified kallah teacher. She is dedicated to helping children and families grow in their Jewish identity and values.

Mrs. Gordon and her husband are proud parents of six children, and she enjoys spending quality time with her family while continuing to serve her community with warmth and dedication.
