Chaiky Drookman
Chaiky grew up in Vancouver’s Jewish community and is excited to continue contributing to the community that helped shape her. She attended Bais Chomesh High School and Beis Chana Seminary and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia.
Chaiky brings a range of experience working with children in both educational and Jewish settings. She has worked in Jewish summer camps, served as a substitute math teacher, and worked as a teacher’s assistant in a special education school. Last year, she joined the Tamim team as a classroom aide and resource teacher, supporting students in the classroom and working one-on-one with students.
In the classroom, Chaiky is passionate about creating a warm, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and connecting personally with what they are learning. This year, she looks forward to continuing to support our students while helping them develop strong Chumash and Judaic Studies skills and build a meaningful connection to Torah and Jewish life.
We are excited to have Chaiky continue as part of the Tamim Academy family.
