We are delighted to welcome Rachel Gonen as an educational support in all our Tamim Academy classrooms.

Rachel brings a remarkable depth of experience, having spent over four decades in education across Israel, Argentina, and now Canada. She is a true expert in early childhood development, classroom leadership, and educator mentorship. For over 20 years, Rachel founded and directed the “Holistic” Daycare in Eilat, Israel—a center known for its nurturing environment, innovative curriculum, and professional staff training.

Her qualifications include:

• A B.Ed. in Education and a Senior Teacher’s Diploma from Levinsky College.
• Specialized training in ABA behavioral analysis.
• Certifications in parent coaching and sleep consulting.
• Extensive supervisory and instructor experience with the Israeli Ministry of Labor’s caregiver training programs.

Rachel is passionate about integrating creativity and technology into learning. She is also a skilled workshop facilitator, having led parenting groups and professional development sessions for educators.

Fluent in Hebrew, Spanish, and English, Rachel offers a warm, inclusive presence that will benefit our diverse student and parent community. Her holistic approach to education aligns beautifully with Tamim’s vision of child-centered learning and meaningful growth.
