We are delighted to welcome Ms. Janice Ma to the Tamim Academy team as our new Art and Literacy Educator.

Janice brings a unique blend of creativity, warmth, and professionalism that makes her a perfect fit for our child-centered learning culture. With experience teaching children as young as two years old through to middle school, she has a natural ability to connect with younger students and create engaging, meaningful learning experiences. Her approach to visual arts and literacy supports each child’s personal growth, creativity, and joy in learning.

Janice holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University, and is certified to teach in both British Columbia and Manitoba. She has led inclusive classrooms across multiple districts and international schools, and brings expertise in both general and arts-integrated studies. Her background in graphic design, storytelling, and curriculum development enriches the learning environment in both English and multilingual settings.

Janice’s passion for education and her vibrant, caring personality make her an inspiring addition to our staff. We are excited for the impact she will have on our students and school community.
