We are excited to welcome Vinessa Johnson Ratnam to the Tamim Academy team!

Vinessa brings over 10 years of teaching experience, both internationally and here in Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Administration from Mumbai, India, and most recently completed a Certificate in Office Administration in Nanaimo, BC.

Vinessa has a deep love for science, math, and academics, and is passionate about helping students grow through curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning. Since arriving in Canada, she has been working in early childhood education, where she continues to support young learners with warmth and care.

She is deeply dedicated to child-centered academic excellence, creating an environment where each student feels valued, supported, and inspired to thrive.

Outside of school, Vinessa enjoys spending time with her family, connecting with nature, and continuing to grow as an educator.
